Student membership is for anyone studying Civil or Structural Engineering who wants to start building towards a professional qualification early.
Who can apply
- You are at least 17 years old.
- You are studying Civil or Structural Engineering, usually on a degree or HND (Higher Diploma) course leading to qualification as a Graduate Member.
What membership gives you
- The letters SNIStructE after your name.
- Access to the Institution’s library, technical meetings, seminars and conferences, and to its state branches.
- An early start on Initial Professional Development (IPD), the training and experience needed for professional membership.
